Find out each evening which checks were missed at each of your sites.

For bakeries, restaurants and factories with more than one site or shift. Your opening, closing and cleaning checks come back as photos, checked against your own standard. Each evening, one page tells you what was missed, where, and who fixed it.

Example evening page. Names, sites and times are made up.

A bakery with three sites. Built at 19:30.

What happens at your shop each day

  1. You show what right looks like

Write a check once: its steps, a photo of each spot done right, and the question to ask about it, such as "Is the gas valve closed?". Set when it is due and at which sites.

  2. Staff do it on their phone

Each person opens Today and sees the checks due at their site, with the time. They look at your reference photo, take the photo in the app, and tap Yes or No where a step asks for it.

  3. The app checks the photo against yours

Staff see the answer straight away, for example:

    • Done. All clear.
    • Done. A supervisor will look at this one.
    • Done. Flagged to Arjun: main switch lever looks up, power may be on.

A flagged check goes to the supervisor of that site the same day. When the app is not sure, a person looks at the photo.

  4. You read one page in the evening

What was missed, where, and who fixed it. How many checks each site did on time. How long the washroom was closed for cleaning. See the example.

See it in the app: three short tours you click through.

Photos taken there and then

The camera is live inside the app. There is no button to pick a photo from the gallery. When staff tap the shutter, the app asks them to turn the phone a little, in a direction it picks each time.

An exact copy of an earlier photo is refused. A photo that looks reused, or like a photo of a screen, goes to a person to look at.

Questions owners ask

What happens to the photos of my shop?

The app checks each photo, and a person looks at any photo it is not sure about. Your photos are stored in India and kept private.

You choose how long your photos are kept. We use them to improve the checks only if you say yes. Every action in the app is recorded.

Need your data handled a particular way? Tell us and we will set it up for you. Write to contact@victopialabs.com.

Do my staff need to type?

No. A check is photos and Yes / No taps. Only a supervisor writes a short note when they fix something.

Do we need new hardware?

No. Staff use a phone with a camera. The app opens in the phone's browser and can be added to the home screen.

Who sees what?

Staff see their own checks. A supervisor sees the checks for their sites. You see every site.

Is it in Tamil or Hindi?

Not yet. The app is in English today.

How do I get the evening page?

It is a page in the app, ready each evening. You can also open any earlier day.
